Application Process in Poland

Admission Period in Poland Universities

So as to apply for particular study program beginning in October for fall Sem and February for Spring Sem, a candidate must contact the admission office of the particular University straight by e-mail (phone/fax) or through its foreign recruitment offices.

In any event, a candidate needs a visa to stay and study in the region of European Union, he or she must apply for selected program satisfactorily earlier, so that decision regarding visa issuance is completed before the fall/ spring semester begins.

General Admission Requirements

At large, the requirements for global students applying for colleges in Poland are as follows:
Entrance Information for BA or BSs (Bachelors) Applicants:
  • Certified secondary school credential or an official duplicate allotted by the candidate's high school,
  • Filled out submission form,
  • 4 passport-size photos,
  • Photocopy of candidate’s ID (passport),
  • Credential of the English language proficiency optionally (if the high-school courses were educated in English);  
  • Medical documentation with no contraindication for studying,
  • Admission payment receipt      

Admission Information for MA (Master) Candidates

  • Undergraduate package diploma or an official matching issued by the academy,
  • Applicant's CV with the particulars about the school and professional occupation optionally,
  • One educational reference and one personal reference,
  • Completed application form,
  • 4 passport-size photographs,
  • Photocopy of the candidate’s ID (passport),
  • Evidence of English language proficiency,
  • Medical documentation with no contraindication for studying,
  • Admission fee imbursement receipt.
Though a candidate might be furthermore asked to submit:
  • Authenticated secondary school certificate or an authorised duplicate issued by the applicant's high school (when applying for master program),
  • An add-on to the undergraduate program certificate or a copy of the bachelor hypothesis,
  • Any other documentation*
*As some universities have additional few admission requests, it is advisable to contact particular University prior to compliance of your application!

Important Note

In case a applicant requires a visa to visit and study on the ground of European Union, he or she must apply for selected program sufficiently earlier, so that choice concerning visa is made before the semester begins. 

Language Requirements

It's not needed for students to speak Polish fluently, when they start learning in Poland. Colleges offer a wide variety of courses taught in English. If scholars wish to study in Polish, they are required to offer a certificate of adeptness in Polish language. Most of the academies organise summer conservatories in polish language, writings and culture. Throughout the semester foreign students can make appointment in Schools of Polish language and arts based on the institution of higher education.
